Guys, today I have a fantastic deal on an amazing fan-favourite figure.
Here's a new Japan Exclusive Transformer figure deal for you guys.
MP-22 Ultra Magnus by Takara Tomy.

An amazingly beautiful and accurate G1 cartoon Masterpiece version of Ultra Magnus.

This figure is an extremely solid toy with some real weight to it and even some die-caste parts like in the knees and a few other places.

He can be put into some truly spectacular poses, but due to his bulk and size he does have some articulation limitations. That said he can still be manipulated into more than enough awesome poses.

Now this Masterpiece Ultra Magnus does not follow in the footsteps of the G1 Ultra Magnus figure, which has the trailer cab semi-transform into a white Optimus Prime figure which then slots inside the transformed trailer to become the robot form of Ultra Magnus. This Masterpiece figure has no separate Optimus prime module but instead relies on an amazingly technical transformation design to produce the white cab from within the robot mode of Ultra Magnus.

Here we have the images of the pose-able missile launchers at the front of the trailer than can be swung around to the sides.

The accessories that come with the figure include :

-  his laser rifle
-  two rockets
- an adult Spike and a child Daniel figure

- a swappable face plate with an open mouthed expression probably screaming “Open damn you, Matrix” before being shot in that scene from the 1986 movie.

 

- and two extra Matrix gripping fists, which are slightly different to his standard fists to allow him to drip the Matrix in the classic pose you see here.

As you can see, his trailer can hold up to 4 standard sized Masterpiece Autobot vehicles, which looks really cool and could be used for some spectacular presentation poses.

This image shows Ultra Magnus side by side with Masterpiece Optimus Prime in both vehicle mode and robot mode.

Though their vehicle modes are quite comparable in size, with Ultra Magnus being slightly larger due to the bulk of his trailer, when it comes to robot mode he towers over Optimus due to the him combining with his trailer.

'Sega Genisis' Megatron is an esquisitely detailed limited edition Megatron figure that transforms into a Sega Genesis game console, which is the the North American version of the Japanese Megadrive.

TakaraTomy are only making a mere 1000 of these babies ('Sega Genesis' Megatron), so they are highly collectible figures and will be very rare items.
